Anyone you introduce directly beneath you (1st Level) is called a Key Appointment.
Starting out, all IFAs are taught the principle of building their business step by step; first by referring 2 people to join their team, then 5, then10 - then teach each of these people to do the same.

- Don't stop at 10 - the more Key Appointments you have, the more successful you will be.
- Encourage your Key Appointments to do what you are doing to build a bigger team - this is the power of network marketing. Never assume the people you recruit are going to take building the business as serious as you do. This is all about taking them through basic training and helping them overcome obstacles and become successful.
- Keep sharing and watching the Digital Presentation - learning and relearning is crucial in running your business.
Note: Bonuses are the stepping stones in the formula of 2-5-10. There are other bonuses and earnings which you can read about in the IFA Rules Manual.
Here’s how to do it
Make sure at least one IFA at every level (Levels 1-6) within one leg of your downline qualifies for IFA Earnings. If this is not so, you will earn 25% (one quarter) of the IFA Earnings on business at the levels below the last IFA Earner. Full earnings will only be earned to the level where an Earning Key Appointment exists on that level and above (in the same leg of your downline) or earnings will be quartered.
TIPS:
- Lead by example. Continue to invite people every week, to scheduled IFA Zoom Presentations, so your team can see you hard at work.
- Make sure your team understands how IFA works and how they need to invite others.
- Make sure that everyone in your team understands the importance of paying premiums and business fees.
- Focus on helping someone to become an earner, not just on becoming an IFA.

Your key to success – and the goal of every IFA - is to become a regular monthly earner. Once you introduce 5 Key Appointments who pay a premium in the same month, you will have established yourself as an IFA Earner, earning an income every month. Remember, when your Key Appointments have also introduced IFAs below them and you are rewarded for their efforts too. The power of IFA Earnings is that you are rewarded on 6 Levels for the efforts of your team (Downline). So, keep motivating your Key Appointments and get them to do the same. Here is what you can earn on each paid product.

Savings Product Earnings TableSaver and Protector Plan, Wealth Plan, Ultimate Foundation (Savings Component)and Foundation Plan (Savings Component)
For these products where DOC is 1 January 2009or later earnings are paid for the duration of the contract and are not subject to year modes. The earnings paid are calculated on the full premium, capped at the first R200 for the Saver and Protector Plan and R500 for the Wealth Plan. For the Foundation Plan and the Ultimate Foundation Plan the total premium contains a life component (i.e. the Protector Portion, which is calculated per the Life products earnings table).The savings component earnings are calculated based on the premium for this component only, capped at the first R500 for the Foundation Plan and the Ultimate Foundation Plan.
Other Products Earnings Table
Clientèle Legal plans (excl vat), H.E.L.P plans and IFA Europ assistance rider Monthly earnings are paid for the full duration of the contract and are not subject to year modes.
IFA GOLD
Monthly earnings are paid on IFA Goldnet of VAT for the full duration of thecontract.
CLIENTÈLE MOBILE
Monthly earnings on data and airtimepurchases for Clientele Mobile SIMcards in a downline are paid for the fullduration of the contract where an IFAis an Earner. IFAs earn at the followingpercentages per level:
