Emergency Assistance Rider

The Emergency Assistance Riders have been designed to assist you with life's emergencies. The benefits on these riders are provided by Europ Assistance. There are 2 plan types to choose from:

The Basic Plan, for an additional R30 per month. The benefits include:

• Emergency Medical Services (24 hour emergency helpline)
• Trauma Counselling
• HIV Assistance (EA Touch)
• Trauma and Assault
• HIV Protection Treatment
• Access to a Personal Health Advisor

The Basic Plus Home Plan, for an additional R50 per month. The benefits include all the Basic Plan Benefits PLUS:

• 24 Fix – provides an appliance and household repair service
• Electrical repairs (lightning strikes on wiring, faulty plugs, power failures)
• Plumbing repairs (water leaks & burst pipes, tap washers, blocked drains)
• Household motor repairs (pool, Jacuzzi, electric gate, garage doors)
• Appliances & electronics (microwave, stoves, washing machines, fridges)
• Home Assist – 24 hour help line – assistance with emergency repairs
• A small excess is payable on all events.
