How to Qualify

How to qualify for Production points?

  • Points will be awarded for all New Business referred up to and including your 3rd level!
  • All New Business policies will earn you points – this includes the IFA Life Cash Back Plan; IFA Legal Cash Back Plan; IFA Cancer Cash Back Plan; IFA Hospital Cash Back Plan; IFA Platinum Hospital Cash Back Plan, IFA Saver and Protector Plan and the IFA Foundation Plan and any other products that may be introduced by the company during the commencement of the qualifying period.
  • All existing IFA Saver and Protector Plans before Date of Commencement 01/08/2010 will continue to earn points for the remainder of the current Incentive Conference period.
  • Each new policy referred will earn you points for each month that the premium is paid, depending on the level at which it is referred.
  • Points will be awarded as follows:

    		• ALL IFA PRODUCTS
    (as detailed above)
    Policies introduced on LEVEL
    		 16 points
    Policies introduced on LEVEL 2 24 points
    Policies introduced on LEVEL 3 8 points

How to qualify for Business Building points?

  • You will also earn Business Building points for converting Non-Earning IFAs on your level 1, 2 and 3 into Earners. You will earn points as follows:
    • IFA earner on LEVEL 1        50 points
    • IFA earner on LEVEL 2        27 points
    • IFA earner on LEVEL 3          9 points

For every month that these Earners remain Earners, you continue to earn the points each month.

You will notice that you earn the most points by converting your Non-Earners into Earners and you will continue to earn points for supporting these Earners. The active support of your downline will ensure that your converted Earners remain Earners.

Qualifying periods

Top 25 Point Earners

The qualifying period will be calculated as from and including IFA Earnings Payment Date 20/03/2010 up to and including IFA Earnings Payment Date 20/02/2011. All Points will be finalised on the 20th of February 2011, thus taking into account any Business with a Date of Commencement of 01/02/2011 with a debit day of the 1st.

Production Points

First submission of application forms can take place as from 23/01/2010 and final submission of application forms will be 22/01/2011, with a final DOC of 01/02/2011 and a debit day of the 1st. All policies captured from 23/01/2010 that are captured with a DOC from 01/02/2010 and a debit day from the 2nd will qualify you for points each time the premium is paid. Business with a DOC 01/02/2011 will ONLY contribute to points for the current year’s IFA Incentive Conference if it has a debit day of the 1st of February 2011.

Business Building Points

You will earn Business Building points for converting Non-Earning IFAs into Earners on your Level 1, 2 and 3. For IFAs not yet earning IFA Earnings as at 20/02/2010 who are converted to IFA Earners between 20/03/2010 and 20/02/2011, you will earn points as specified above.

Top 5 Fast Starters

All IFAs that joined the IFA Business Opportunity with a First Date Of Commencement of 01 March 2010 will be eligible to qualify as a Fast Starter.

If you are already an IFA prior to the above period and submit a new policy application with these Dates of Commencement, you will not be eligible to qualify as a Fast Starter. This will include any business that was acquired by way of a cession.

The qualifying period will be calculated as from and including IFA Earnings Payment Date 20/08/2010 up to and including IFA Earnings Payment Date 20/02/2011. All Points will be finalised on the 20th of February 2011, thus taking into account any Business with a Date of Commencement of 01/02/2011 with a debit day of the 1st.

Production Points

First submission of application forms can take place as from 23/07/2010 and final submission of application forms will be 22/01/2011, with a final DOC of 01/02/2011 and a debit day of the 1st. All policies captured from 23/07/2010 that are captured with a DOC from 01/08/2010 will qualify you for points each time the premium is paid. Business with a DOC 01/02/2011 will ONLY contribute to points for the current year’s IFA Incentive Conference if it has a debit day of the 1st of February 2011.

Business Building Points

You will earn Business Building points for converting Non-Earning IFAs into Earners on your Level 1, 2 and 3. For IFAs not yet earning IFA Earnings as at 20/07/2010 who are converted to IFA Earners between 20/08/2010 and 20/02/2011, you will earn points as specified above.

Lastly, in order for you to qualify for the IFA Incentive Conference, you will need to meet the following additional criteria on 20 February 2011:

  • For a Legend or Achiever to qualify, they need to meet the minimum requirement as per the Legends or Achievers Contract
  • For the Top 25 Point earners to qualify, a minimum of 30 000 points is needed, Club status of Club 1,000 or Platinum Club 750 must have been reached and they must have at least 15 premium paying Earning Key Appointments at the end of the qualifying period;
  • For the Top 5 Fast Starters to qualify, a minimum of 10 000 points is needed, Club status of Club 100 must have been reached and they must have at least 5 premium paying Earning Key Appointments at the end of the qualifying period.
