Compliance Officer

Dr Gary Simpson is the Compliance Officer for the Clientèle Group.  Gary obtained his MBA in the United Kingdom and his DBA through the University of KwaZulu-Natal.  He has had extensive exposure to the insurance industry in South Africa, as well as having worked with competitor companies in respect of multi-level compensation network models.  Gary is also the Chairman of the Direct Marketing Association of South Africa (DMASA), and chairs the legal sub-committee of DMASA.  He is also a member of numerous other industry bodies such as the Institute of Directors (IoD), ASISA and DSA.

COMPLIANCE

Clientèle and IFA both pride themselves on having a firmly entrenched compliance culture and operate within the guidelines set by the Financial Services Board (FSB). Clientèle has a robust and highly experienced Compliance Department and is a member of the Association for Savings and Investments SA (ASISA) (previously the Life Offices Association (LOA)) and the Direct Selling Association (DSA), www.dsasa.co.za.
